We recently carried out the decontamination of a loft area due to an infestation of rats. Rats had been gaining access to the loft via the sewers and cavity walls.
We used sewer cameras to identify the pipe within the sewer causing the issue. This has been repaired and as a precaution stainless non return valves have been fitted in all outlets.
We also removed all contaminated loft insulation with a period of monitoring to ensure no further rats are found. We also sprayed disinfectant to all loft areas.
