We recently inspected a property with rats gaining access to two attached properties. After completing an initial inspection it became obvious that drains were the source of the problem.

It was a delicate situation due the properties occupied by elderly people and we had to tread carefully.

We find the majority of rat problems in buildings stem from rats gaining access via broken sewer pipes or collapsed drains.

We inspected the believed to be main sewer outlet which indeed was receiving water and waste from both houses. We also gained access to a man hole in the neighbours back garden this is what was found. Even before camera survey it is obvious that a collapsed sewer pipe is the cause of the issue and we are now rectifying the issue.
