Welcome to our Bird control services arm of Pestcatcher, we provide hawk services and bird proofing services to clients throughout the south west region. Since we started we have helped clients to control and proof against pest birds including Pigeons and Gulls, we now have a in house falconer and hawk to control pigeons.

Falconary as a Bird Deterrent

Pigeons are clever animals and they quickly learn that artificial bird detterents, such as electronic devices/sonic warning calls and models are of no threat. By showing them a real bird-of-prey they do not stay around and quickly move on.

Our fully trained and experienced falconers fly hawks towards the pigeons and scare them away. The pigeons will then learn to to associate the area with danger and in effect create a no fly zone for the pigeons.

Our hawks do not kill pigeons and just act as a deterrent to keep them away from your premises.

Pigeon Spikes / Bird Spikes

Pigeon / Bird Spikes are extremely effective way of keeping pigeons and other birds away from your premises, Pigeon spikes are designed to prevent pigeons from perching on locations of the property including ridge lines, window sills etc.

They are not as painful as they sound and cause discomfort to the pigeon rather than cause any harm. They are also recommended by the R.S.P.B as a humane method of deterrent.

Bird Netting

Pigeon netting is another effective way of creating a physical barrier, this method of prevention and control prevents pigeons from roosting in unwanted areas. Netting also comes in a variety of different colours and sizes, we can supply a clear colour net which then cannot be seen by anybody looking at it.

Specialist Cleaning Services

Once your premises are protected from pigeons we can then offer a full clean up service. Cleaning up after pigeon fouling can be a time consuming process and special chemicals and equipment is required, This is due to health risks involved when dealing with pigeon fouling and full protective equipment is required by the people involved in the clean up. We treat the area with specialist chemicals and remove the pigeon Guano of site for safe disposal.
